About Gong's Kitchen
Gong's Kitchen is a Bespoke Event Catering Company with over 30 years of both industry and private catering experience.
With multiple chefs in the team offering a diverse and exciting combination of cuisines (British, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Indian to name just a few), Gong's Kitchen will work closely with you to design a unique and memorable menu for your event, whether it be a formal sit-down dinner, a relaxed outdoor BBQ, or a served buffet. We are also able to suggest a range of set menus if you do not have a specific menu in mind.
We cater for both business and private events, including weddings, corporate & community events, birthdays, christenings, anniversaries, hen nights & funerals and we can often be found at food festivals across the region in the warmer months.
We are able to cater for restricted diets such as vegan, gluten free, dairy free, halal and allergen free.
Our staff are hand-picked for their excellence in customer service and are well-presented, hygiene conscious, highly trained and socially skilled. The staff will be visible or discreet depending upon your specific requirements but will always be fully present and focused on the guests to ensure the event runs smoothly and professionally.
Typical Clients
There is no typical client for Gong's Kitchen - every client's event is unique to them and we treat each one accordingly.
However, we regularly cater for weddings (from small, intimate gatherings in a garden to full scale wedding venue ceremonies with all the bells and whistles), milestone birthday parties (our clients have ranged from 1 to 90 years), corporate events (product launches, AGMs, staff treat days) and everything in between.

Fantastic food
Patrick, Claire and the team were amazing from start to finish. They set up and cleared away with minimum fuss. The food was fantastic and all my guests commented on how good it was and how friendly the team were.

Lunch for colleague Windrush Workshop
Claire and Patrick from Gong's Kitchen provided lunch for 70+ colleagues at our recent Windrush Workshop event in Birmingham.
The communication ahead of the event was thorough and they were very accommodating and flexible to the way in which the food was served, allowing for us to adhere to our health and safety policies.
Everyone really enjoyed the authentic Jamaican cooked food which complemented our event and the food was served nice and hot to all attendees.
Would definitely recommend Gong's Kitchen for your corporate events, they were able to accommodate both halal and non-halal options as well as vegetarian options - all at very reasonable prices.

I wanted to demonstrate to my organisation what an inclusive catered lunch could look like. Every time we have a lunch event, it's your usual sandwiches and it doesn't reflect the cultures in our organisations. Gong's kitchen worked with me to develop a lunch menu that was diverse and reflected lots of cultures. We have patties, boa buns, Eid sweets, fritters, arancini, sandwiches and so much more. Colleagues absolutely loved the food. Gong's kitchen were professional, constantly in touch as we planned our event and they surpassed our expectations. Big thank you to Gongs kitchen for catering our recent work event. Our staff can’t stop raving about the delicious food and top-notch service from start to finish. Claire was very helpful with the organising and helped us choose our menu. We were also grateful that they were able to cater to someone who had very specific dietary needs and made her an individual meal. Patrick did great at cheffing up such tasty food. Gongs kitchen were great from start to finish. They listened and changed their standard format to create smaller dishes for our event. Communication before the event was excellent.
