About Its Chris Benn
Chris began his DJing career in 2012 and was lucky enough to have his first gig in the prestigious Mayfair club ‘Funky Buddha’. Since then, he’s played sets across the UK and Europe playing for some of the biggest companies and brands as well as Forbes-recognised private clients.
You would find a young Chris sharing music with his school friends and performing raps in school assemblies so it’s no surprise that his career is a continuation of this trait. After taking his studies to Leeds and graduating with a Music Technology degree in 2013, Chris road-managed and DJed for 90s dance act Baby D. It became clear at this time that bringing joy through music was his life mission and he became a full-time DJ in 2017 under his own name.
At the start of 2023, he produced his first rework which has since been featured on BBC Radio 2 by DJ Spoony. He will be back in the studio with more of his own material to be shared soon.

Brilliant DJ!!
Chris was perfect. It was an intimate wedding in a grand venue so keeping the dance floor looking full was always going to be a challenge… not for Chris!
He was very in tune with our guests, what a brilliant party. Thank you for making our day even more special!

Great DJ catering for all tastes
Chris did a great job at our work Christmas party. He was very professional and pleasant to deal with, and did a superb job on the night of catering to the tastes of a wide range of people. Everyone danced and had a great time and lots of people have said since that he's the best DJ we've ever had a work 'do'. I would thoroughly recommend him.

Chris was exceptional, incredibly polite and provided top-notch vibes the whole night. All the guests and myself had such a good time, music was tailored to us and the whole atmosphere was just incredible! Will definitely recommend to all my friends and family for events in the future!
Great DJ - Operates like a Chamelion!
So good to work with Chris! What makes Chris better than the others is that he has an uncanny ability to read the room and sense the mood of the audience and tailors the music accordingly. For example, in this one event, he saw there were a number of guests from Korea and swiftly balanced the music from classical nostalgic R’n’B to K-POP.

DJ Chris Ben was the perfect choice for our school's prom night. We provided a playlist to ensure that all of the songs were suited to the students, including cultural and international songs, and he did a fantastic job that had everyone dancing all night! Chris did such a fantastic job for our wedding.
