What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote, we need to establish a fit and understand the client's requirements, making sure that our unit can be accommodated with the space available. We then take all the strain making sure our company deliver a first-class service and above all taste, so the client has a successful, value for money venue, giving our team the satisfaction of delivering. Our strength is we are a family-owned company.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The advice I would give the client is, if geographically possible, try out the food vendor as a client to see what and how good the service is, also checking out what I feel is the most important, quality of food, cleanliness of unit and equipment. This will also test the authenticity of the food as to what part of the world or region it originated from.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Kang Foo Noodles was set up from my wife's passion for cooking and making people happy. She is from Chengdu China, in the Sichuan region, made famous by the Panda sanctuary and the city is known throughout China for its fine food. As my wife's passion is cooking and fine food, she became the designated cook when the family gather, and food is the most important item for the gathering. With that she left her acupuncture profession to pursue her passion, Kang Foo Noodles was formed and a great day is when customers compliment her dish. She is gathering a reputation for serving one of the best noodle dishes in London.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are brand new to Add to Event but we have received a number of opportunities and can see this is going to be a powerful tool for us. We hope to receive and do endless events for us to prove that we do have great tasting dishes and service, as our motto is always to please the client. Our service and food is first class.
