What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to provide an accurate quote for a client I need some important information from the first point of contact. I need the date of the event and the location/venue, timings for the booking, estimated number of guests and reason for the celebration. With this info, I can give you an accurate quote to see if my services fit within your budget.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are having a party make sure you hire a venue that can accommodate the number of guests you are inviting. If you want my services please envision how my balloon magic can fit within your event. For example, if you are having a corporate dinner or a wedding and I would fit well, making balloons for people sitting at their tables. In this case, there needs to be enough room for me to move around the tables. If you are having a birthday party and want to book my show, make sure there is space for me to have a performance area as well as a place for the children and adults to sit down.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I am Miss Popularity, a highly-skilled balloon entertainer. I enjoy creating wonderful balloon surprises right before people's eyes. Everyone has fun at parties and I enjoy earning my living by spending time with people celebrating! Balloons are silly, colourful and are a great way for people at your party to feel like they got something bespoke to cherish. Not many other art forms can be created right before your very eyes. I am passionate about laughter and playfulness and love my job.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have only had a few bookings through Add to Event because I am very busy in my business and I only respond to direct quotes that I know my balloon flair will enhance the event. One corporate event that sticks out in my mind through this site is a work Christmas party where I made caricatures and balloon hats for all the people sitting at their table waiting for the food to be served. The food was really delayed and there was so much appreciation for my entertainment. All the adults felt like kids and were shouting out wild requests. It was lots of fun and there was a lot of giggling.
