What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the equipment required, date of the events, start and end time and what the event is. We also need delivery address and we ideally like the event type so we can be prepared and sometimes bring a gift.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the provider to see if they can provide adequate test certificates for inflatables, along with insurance documents. This is for safety reasons - the industry for inflatables does have rules and regulations which most hire companies don't follow. Fortunately, we do!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Gedling Castle Hire was started from the idea of another company we met - we then brought our first inflatable which went well, so the business expanded. We always loved making our customers happy and feel that by giving them an affordable reliable service we can do just that.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We haven't had any bookings through Add to Event yet. Until now we've just been promoting on other sites, but are now pushing our business in all directions. We hope to get a few bookings from Add to Events and we will now be using this platform regularly. Our bookings hopefully will be good as the customer base seems: great and professional.
