In order for us to give you the most cost-effective quote, we would need a number of things. The date of the events, what type of event you are planning, the number of guests you’re expecting, a venue or area the venue will be most likely, whether it is indoor or outdoor, will there be power available? This way we can put together an appropriate quote and suggest anything else that we may be able to offer too!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would definitely advise the customer to enquire whether the supplier has catered similar events, whether that be the number of guests or event type. How long it takes them to setup, whether the equipment will be manned or when the equipment can be collected if not. It’s also important for you to enquire about insurance docs and pat testing certificates.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Sugarpuf London started with the intention of creating a flexible job around my daughter. It then became my creative outlet and I focussed on providing a service that I hadn’t seen before. A service of hiring fun food but with a stylish flair and with some personality behind it. I think that I have achieved that and have worked with some amazing clients so far - some of who I only dreamed of working with.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had so many bookings through Add to Event and they have all been a pleasure. When I first started a couple of years ago, I was a part of a circus-themed first birthday. It was so extravagant and I had been up and running for two months. The couple then used me again this year for their second child’s birthday and have kept in touch since. I always recommend this platform to those just starting out and wondering how they can increase their bookings.
