Dublicious Food

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To help us provide the best information we would love to know event date, event venue, which kitchen facilities are available, estimated number of guests and the type of menu desired, for example, buffet, sharing platters or 3-course meal. We can then send you some example menus and then look to put together a full quote and tailored menu for you.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have a good look at the type of food, customer feedback and website of the supplier. Food is subjective, so each supplier may have a different style to what you desire. Food for your caterer should be a passion and not just a business. This to me, makes all the difference to the taste and quality of the food you will receive.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Dublicious Food was started to enable me to follow my love of cooking and food. The business was started on a part-time basis in 2013 which enabled me to continue my work in IT as well as gradually growing the business. After 3 years I was able to take the plunge as work solely on Dublicious Food due to our growing reputation and repeat customers built on a discreet, professional service and ultimately amazing tasting food.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event enables us to find new customers who are looking for suppliers who have not been recommended to us. We do not advertise so only use word of mouth, website searches or Add to Event to pitch our services. From many weddings, a lovely couple selected us for their big day in September last year. Although they were based in London, their parents lived locally and we were able to meet with them to discuss the big day. Not only did they love the food, but the parents also booked us for other events and many guests have asked for our details. This is how we can grow our business from one booking by offering the best service and food possible.

About Catering
Some see organising party food catering as a chore or a necessity, but for some events the party food is the highlight. Caterers are continually innovating to create something new, different and delicious (like a hog roast), so finding your party food caterers doesn’t have to be dull. Whether it’s a designer wedding cake, fish and chip cones, or a buffet, food is great way to get people talking. The choice is yours; menus are often customisable and dietary requirements and preferences catered for.
From private party catering chefs and silver service to a catering food van for outside mobile catering, offering pizzas, ice cream or even cocktails. Complete your party catering supplies by requesting a quote from our extensive list of party caterers. Once the food is sorted, why not look to hire a DJ for your event to really get the party started!
