What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests and potential venue. Whether it is indoor or outdoor and the catering facility offered. From this, we can use our expertise to put together a suitable quotation. Budget is really important from the beginning so we can make sure we are offering the correct dining experience from the off.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the provider about the product they are offering, I wouldn't want my hair cut by someone who didn't know much about hair so why trust someone with your catering if they know little about their offering. Ask the provider about their menu and why they are serving what they are serving. After all, our main goal should be to provide exactly what you require. Also, find out about their staff, are they trained, do they hold the correct certifications to be cooking your food?

Paisley Flour Catering are based in Bewdley, Worcestershire and was born out of love for all things foodie! Emma has spent over a decade as a caterer...for weddings, bars, corporate events and private dining for royalty! Her passion has always been providing great service and giving people food beyond their expectations. During the growth of the business, we have always had a customer focus at its core.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Wow! There have been lots of bookings through this platform that I am personally so happy about. If I had to pick one, it would be catering for a wedding for a great couple not too far from us. We fed 250 people, and we nailed it hard! The reviews were amazing, they're blown away by the taste, visual experience and also the professionalism of all of the staff.
