Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Having been a professional storyteller for 15 years, I had been constantly asked "Do you do parties?" "Will you come entertain the kids at my wedding?". Well, back then I was far too busy working as an environmental chemist (!) to consider taking on parties. But then the career changed happened... I didn't just want to stop at storytelling though - I've always had a passion for dressing up, puppets, creating characters and for working with children to keep them busy and entertained. Now I have the chance to paint faces, play with glitter, run crafts sessions and everything that brings smiles to faces. It's customer focus on a whole different level and I'm loving it!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

The client was looking for something "That little bit different" and clearly found me through Add to Event. She had an idea for a party that was a little bit unusual. Could I do it? I immediately accepted it and spent the next couple of weeks creating a unique set of stories, games, crafts and glitter tattoos. It was great fun and I believe I had a very happy mum, dad and of course... birthday boy!
