What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide you with an accurate quote we need the date, time, number of guests and exactly what they would want/expect from us. We also need the duration they would require for each activity and if they want characters, what they have in mind.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would always ask about what is included in every package as different children's entertainers provide different packages. Also, ask questions as sometimes companies can tailor more to your needs the more information we have. Most are flexible. Be honest about what you expect!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

PartyFriendz began in 2012. I used to work for the company and loved every minute of it. When I found out the previous owner was selling up, I just had to buy it. Over the past year and a half myself and my business partner have put our lives into this business upgrading equipment, costumes and staff! It has become a lifestyle rather than a job and we love every minute of it!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We haven't been with Add to Event long but have had lots come through it. It is really great to get a variety of work through this platform. One of our first bookings with Add to Event was a christening, there were only a few children there but all joined in and had a great time - including a lot of the adults as well. We were asked to stay longer at this booking because of the work we had done and had a throroughly enjoyable day!
