What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote to a customer ideally we require the event date and length of time required to entertain, whether the event is indoor or outdoor and at home or a hired venue, the estimated number of guests, their ages and if the party is themed. From this, we can put together a proposed plan for the customer's approval.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the children's entertainer exactly what is and isn't included within the price quoted so you get the best price for your budget. Ask to read reviews from previous customers. Find out if they like their job - it can make a huge difference in how the provider approaches the work they are booked for.

I have developed my business as Just Karen, providing entertainment for children over the last 15 years because after leaving work as kids entertainer at a holiday park I knew it was something I loved doing and wanted to continue with. I enjoy providing a great service and making sure a child has a party they and their friends will remember whilst allowing the parents to relax and let me take the lead.
