What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For an accurate quote, we would need the date of your event, the venue and area that the event would take place in. It would also be good to know the duration and if it is a birthday please let us know the age of the birthday child. Loopy Lews provides entertainment for event's from 30 minutes to all day events, indoors or outside.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When booking a children's entertainer, ask if they are a full time professional. While there are a few good part timers, mostly they do not have the dedication and commitment as full time children's entertainers. All full time children's entertainers should have Public Liability Insurance, this is vitally important both for your own peace of mind and also for the venue.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I've been a full time entertainer for many years performing all over the UK. I started because of watching variety shows, Paul Daniels magic show, Tommy Cooper etc. while growing up. I always wanted to entertain people and I've been very lucky to do so. I always take great pride in every show I do and give every effort to make the events and shows that I do as easy for the organiser as possible.

I've had some lovely jobs come through Add to Event. The reviews that I've had are from some of the parties I've done from Add to Event and they both had very happy guests when the parties were over.
