What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the provider about the product they are offering, I wouldn't want my hair cut by someone who didn't know much about hair so why drink coffee from someone who knows little about the coffee they are offering. Ask the provider about their menu and why they are serving what they are serving. After all, we are coffee bars so that should be our main goal. Also, find out about their equipment as better equipment will mean they can make better tasting drinks more efficiently.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
M-Coffee started as an accompaniment to our Cycle support business at cycle sportives and events. A long love of coffee has led me to be able to provide the best locally roasted coffee.
Whether its a small office meeting or a large scale event, we can provide the best coffee and teas around.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had lots of requests for quotes, however, we are still waiting to receive a booking.
I would say I'd recommend using this service as we wouldn't have had any otherwise.
