What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide the most accurate quote to our clients ideally we require the first date to check our availability & event location. Alongside this an estimated number of guests & tables with an indication of the décor you are looking for, for example; chair covers, sashes, tall or small centrepieces etc. With our expertise, we can provide a full rundown quote for consideration.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask to see the company's work, ask a little about their work and how long they have been in business. If possible for décor I would suggest seeing some samples in person, this allows you to check the quality & ensure it reflects the price. Don't be afraid to shop around, there are lots of us but don't jump in too quick. Most importantly don't be afraid to ask about relative insurances, do your research & know your company well. You may be planning an event such as a wedding, and should anything go wrong weddings aren't cheap to do it all again tomorrow if anything goes wrong.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My very first job began in hospitality & as I moved from bar to hotel my experience widened & I gained skills in various events including weddings. I started a family & the hospitality hours weren't too friendly. I continued in hospitality part-time whilst taking on a business & accounts course. Part of our course was to generate a business plan, I used my knowledge of wedding & event planning through the hospitality trade to create Bello Dayz. To begin there was no intention of it going past my course but I decided to follow that business plan through part-time out of curiosity & see where it took me. 4 years later I run Bello Dayz full time from home around my family & I love every bit of it. Providing great service & bringing peoples ideas & dreams to life.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are fairly new to Add to Event however we did a wedding recently and received a great review!
