What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for me to provide you with a quote for your special occasion, please let me know the date of the event, location, venue, the estimated number of guests, and the number of hours required, along with any other special requirements. I will then be able to let you know if I am available, and provide you with a quote tailored to your occasion. I aim to provide reasonably-priced, competitive service, that is at the same time of the highest quality. I always tailor the occasion to your specific needs and wishes.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Having extensive experience as a professional Wedding and Party DJ, I would highly recommend that the customer do a little research, and make sure the DJ they choose is right for them. Not all DJs are the same, and it's important that you find a DJ who will provide the service you are looking for. For instance, do they play the styles of music you want, will they play a songlist if you provide one, do they take requests, can they act as MC, can they entertain children, will they be friendly and polite with your guests, can they provide a radio mic for speeches (and singing), and do they have a full PAT certificate and full Public Liability Insurance? I can provide all these and more. Your party just as you want it.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

All Tomorrow's Parties Mobile Disco has been in business now for nearly 20 years. It grew out of a passion for music - a passion that is still growing - along with a love of social occasions and meeting new people. It is immensely satisfying to create a great party, a fantastic atmosphere, and give people a night to remember. I get the same thrill DJing now as I did when I started.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have played at many, many fantastic parties and weddings - from intimate to large scale occasions. I have played music from right across the spectrum. There are so many memorable nights. One occasion that particularly stays with me, is the three-day burlesque-themed Wedding Festival I played at just outside Peterborough. All the guests - and I - camped there, and I played for all three days, between the twenty-odd bands in the line-up, and finished off every night. I catered for a wide variety of tastes and didn't play the same song twice. People danced from start to finish. The bride and groom were extremely happy, booked me again subsequently, and still recommend me to their friends and acquaintances. Fantastic.
