What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

The information required for an accurate quote includes the correct date (as we need to check if we are available), the venue (so we can see if our equipment is suitable) and finally we need the times for the event (so we know how long we are quoting for).

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We live in an area that is plagued by unprofessional suppliers, so we know better than anyone that if the price sounds too good to be true it probably is. Always check out a company's reviews on Google or social media. Check out their media too - good photos and videos can give you an idea of what to expect. Also, ensure you're picking a supplier who is insured and operating legally.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Disco Couture started 5 years ago under a different name. We re-branded last year to focus more on the wedding and corporate markets. We found over the first few years the kind of events we preferred, and decided to specialise in them. We distance ourselves from our competitors by providing the highest quality customer service and focusing on what the client wants.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We're pretty new to Add to Event but have received some excellent leads which we have converted into bookings even from early on. Its an easy to use system and the credits are pretty reasonably priced. Our first booking was actually for a house party which was great fun and very different.
