What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Ideally, I would require the event date and location. The type of theme or colour scheme they are wanting to work with and the sorts of venue decor they wish to hire. From this, I will provide base prices for them along with images of the types of things that they are asking for.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you look at the reviews of the supplier on all platforms. If they have removed their reviews from Facebook there is probably a reason for this. Make sure the person you are working with completely understands what you want and doesn't take over YOUR event. Don't just accept the cheapest price as you are unlikely to get the best service and support with such a cheap quote.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I absolutely love all things weddings. Tangled Events was created as I want to help everyone create their princess perfect day. I have 5+ years of experience within venues and set up my own business as it was something I loved doing and wanted to be able to transfer my skills across the whole of the Midlands.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I've had lots of great bookings through Add to Event and always get great feedback. I helped a lady organise her 60th birthday party in Derby. It was a very elaborate affair with lots of table decorations, ceiling decorations, other bits around the venue. There was nothing that wasn't thought about.
