What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide an accurate event quote, we require the date, time, location and event type along with any theme and number of guests, how many of guests are adults, how many are children and if the event is inside or outside. This way, we can assess what equipment is required and style of service in order to satisfy all requirements and make your event memorable for the right reasons.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the face painter about insurance! There is an increase in law suits in face painting so cover is important. Being a member of FACE ensures a minimum professional standard of painting and that stringent health and safety measures are followed, which will give you some peace of mind.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Having always been creative in my work, I started in the food industry and moved in a more artistic direction. Painting people is lovely when they see the transformation at the end and I love to try and give everyone their ideal face paint / balloon and more. Being part of a professional group means I can supply one or a number of artists for any sized event, whether corporate or private, all at a good quality.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Being relatively new to Add to Event, I have had 2 bookings from several quotes and hope to gain more business. The corporate event was a lovely leaving do for several members of care home staff. I was able to paint a range of people from children to mature adults and did a range of designs on faces and arms. I also offered the glitter tattoos to add more interest and was well looked after.
