What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote we would require the following. Date, time and venue for your event or party. We would also need to know the number of guests attending approx., whether event is indoor and outdoor. It also helps us to know if your event has a theme and if you wish our services to be tailored to this.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly I would ask what services the supplier has to offer. What experience do they have. What area they cover and also make sure they are properly insured.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started Superstars Face painting in 2020. Coming from an art-trained background, it has allowed me to showcase my work. It has also led me to meet so many lovely people and children. I'm a people person and love interacting with new people whether young or old. The smile when they look in the mirror makes all the hard work worth it!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had the opportunity to work with so many lovely people. I have painted faces young and old. The privilege to paint a child's face for the first time and see the joy in their eyes when they are transformed into their favourite character is priceless. I recently completed a booking at a care home, a lovely festival day for the residents and their families. My last face paint of the day was a lovely lady named Yvonne, at the grand age of 94 she had never had her face painted and I had the joy of crowning her with festival flowers and glitter. She told me you are never too old for glitter!
