What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we need the event date, time and length of event or hire. We need to know whether they would like their guests to pay for our services or be free. An estimated number of guests, event location, guests age range and a brief description of the event. Extra useful information, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event, if there is a theme for the event?

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the provider to show images of their work, and if they have a website. Prices/quotes usually reflect the quality of work and products used. Ask the provider about their services and what you will be expecting from them on the day. If your unsure about amount of time to hire a painter, count your guests - you will need at least 6 minuets per face.

CosmoBox started because of our love for creating amazing designs that wow and mesmerise guests. Who would not want to spend their working day playing with paint and glitter? Working on a new location daily, meeting new faces and doing what you love makes it the dream job.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had lots of bookings through this, and it's so easy to use and contact potential leads. If I had to pick one memorable event, it would be a birthday party we were hired for last summer. A family had organised a surprise birthday party for there dad, following the theme of a traditional children's party. There was a magician, a clown, a bouncy castle, jelly and ice cream and ourselves. But this was not a usual party as the guests were over 50 and never had their faces painted before. We had a fantastic day painting and were very glad to be apart of their memories.
