What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We are happy to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally, we need the event day and date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, estimated number of guests, the area and potential venue and whether it is an outdoor or indoor event. With our experience and expertise, we can then put together a package to suit the customer.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Always ask the supplier about the product they are offering, I wouldn't want my car fixed by someone who didn't know about cars so why would you want someone providing Casino Entertainment to your guests if they didn't have a clue or the experience about dealing the games. Ask if they use full-size luxury tables and do they use professional croupiers as the look and feel of your Fun Casino is very important in keeping all your guests entertained.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Casino Select - is the original Fun Casino Business in the South West of England and was first established in 1994 by a good friend of mine. I was a part of Casino Select from the very beginning and I then took over the business in 2007. Having worked in the Casino industry since 1986 and travelling the world on the Cruise ships, meeting my partner Paul on the ships (he is also a croupier) its what we absolutely do best. Along with showcasing our skills at the Casino tables, we have many tales to tell and amuse our guests with which is another reason why we love what I do... we get to relive all those lovely memories as well as provide great memories for our customers.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Well although we are not new to the entertainments industry we are fairly new Add to Event and all my bookings are for the future and sadly our future bookings have been postponed or rescheduled due to the unprecedented times with Covid-19.
I can say that so far that Add to Event has been very accommodating due to Covid-19 and will certainly continue to promote the platform. Our daughter has The Devon Fizz Company and has been telling us to join for ages and when I finally do we have a world crisis but she has had so great bookings from Add to Event with lovely reviews also which I am sure we will soon when we able to go out and complete our bookings.
