What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to be able to provide a quote we need a brief explanation of the event type, a confirmed date and approximate number of guests. This will enable us to suggest the most appropriate number of glitter artists required for your event duration.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're specifically after an eco-friendly glitter bar service, always make sure you look out for the official Bioglitter logo to ensure they're using genuine biodegradable glitter. Greenwashing is sadly a huge issue in the world of sparkle now but we're an official Bioglitter licensee. We only stock biodegradable glitter for our glitter bars. Always have and always will!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Luminosity Glitter was born in 2019 from a love of all things Notting Hill carnival and sparkle! After a daydream about carnival and watching a documentary on microplastics in our oceans, it got me thinking about what glitter was made from.
I did lots and lots of research and saw there was this thing called Bioglitter which biodegrades in a natural environment in a matter of weeks and was made from eucalyptus cellulose.
After starting my online store, covid took over the world whilst I was working as a flight attendant and I launched into events last summer having left flying.
The rest is sparkly history!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We do so many fabulous events but the most recent booking was for a festival-themed summer corporate event in London.
I love all things festival and we had our glitter roaming service walking around glittering the guests while they ate popcorn and candy floss in the sunshine. It was such a lovely afternoon!
We love bringing the sustainable sparkle magic to events and seeing guests' reactions to their sparkly looks.
Although adults choosing glitter can be harder than it is for children choosing sweets in a candy store!
