What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

As a provider of many facets of eventing etc, we need as much information as possible from an organiser. The type of info needed would be around precise date, location, start and end time of event. In addition, if the requests are for security/ stewarding we would need to know if alcohol is going to be present / consumed at the event. With this info we would be able to promptly provide a quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

We would kindly ask all customers to consider the fact that all providers must be fully insured and have adequately trained staff to deliver their requirements. In other words, we wouldn't provide someone to be security without the required SIA badge.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Tuxedo Mouse Events was created on the back of a long-standing/ highly experienced team of event organisers with backgrounds in all aspects of the job profile. Between us we have extensive knowledge and experience in all things operational, health and safety, recruitment and planning. This as a collective was pulled together and Tuxedo Mouse Events emerged.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

To date the event that stands out for us that came from Add to Event was a festival event in a Meopham bar in September this year. We provided 2 security SIA-trained staff to carry out general licence duties and to mingle with the public. The client fed back that both team members well dressed, well-mannered and attentive to the venue's needs. Both had great communication skills and did us proud as an employer.

We have been on Add to Event for 4-5 months now and fully appreciate the ease of using the site to our full advantage.
