What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an accurate quote we need to know the date of the event, what type of event it is (if there is a theme) and the estimated number of guests that will be attending. Location is important, and what type of venue would be helpful too. It would also be helpful to know a budget and what type of food they are looking for.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise you to collect a few quotes and gather as much information about the company as possible. Make sure you feel comfortable with the person and confident of the company's ability to provide the service you require. Check websites and any customer reviews. Make sue you're on the right page when it comes to your expectations and they understand and respect your budget. Always ask for a menu tasting if possible too.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started out as a Hog Roast company providing award winning catering in any setting, from hotel functions to barn weddings, we love a challenge. Then through our many conversations with customers at fairs or general enquiries it was clear that many companies only offered very stringent menus for all catering requirements and only offered it in ideal environments with kitchens and staff.
We took the ethos of the traditional Hog Roast and developed recipes and menus that can be catered for anywhere. We now boast a massive array of menus to suite all tastes, preferences and events.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had a few bookings, none have been completed yet though. The whole process is stress free and works really well for our line of business.
