Bar in the Box is a converted vintage horse trailer, housing a self-contained mobile bar and provides a quality bar experience for guests with state-of-the-art dispensing equipment that serves cold beer, cider, lager, prosecco and wine so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the party! Keep reading for advice on what you should know about booking a bar for your event.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We have a very flat structured quotation system which allows us to be very transparent and honest, but at the same time flexible and creative to give the customer what they need.
Knowing the location of the venue and the set up that is made available, this allows us to plan in the equipment and connections that we may need to change ready to make the event run smoothly, having our own power capacity if working remotely is a benefit, and can provide a whole range of extras once the approval has been given, and all at no extra costs.
The date can be secured with a deposit and then leave the rest to us, we will provide the drinks selected by the customer and then the bar is based on a tab value set by the customer, all paid for bar, and we will keep track of account and what has been used or the guests pay themselves.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always check that they can deliver exactly what you want, that everybody has their own tastes and needs, being flexible in the approach and being able to customise to the client's requirements.
Weddings are very special days and they need to be perfect for the bride and family involved, so this is very important that the theme is followed through, colour co-ordination and attire for staff to compliment the special day.
Having energy and bringing some fun along the way goes that extra mile for the client and customers.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
With a passion for hospitality and a friendly mannerism, we started the business with the intentions to provide the bride or party with a custom experience, loving trends and design and bringing them to life and sharing with others at the events that we participate at.
Listening to the customer, caring for their needs, especially when it comes to the bride, being able to assist in making the day that little bit more special and adding to her special day that she may have been dreaming over since being a little girl.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event is the only place for us as a business to be able to find the type of work that we do, allowing customers to request quotes and provide details so that we can pick and choose what we would like to attend and send details for the customers to be able to select what they want.
Using Add to Event has allowed us to find jobs like the recent wedding we attended and were able to provide a bespoke service to the bride, they selected the drinks they wanted us to offer and the bar was a customer pay event. We catered for around 100 people throughout the evening do and had a great time with them all.
