What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
When requesting a booking be sure to feature the location and what sort of event this is, how many guests you wish to provide for and any special requirements. Finally, mention the payment method and what service you prefer.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a provider, check out the profile page, the website and reviews, this will tell you about how far the provider has gone to try to sell their product. Then ask about the process or procedure for the day of the event, this will give you an idea of how professionally run the event will be run. Ask the price and if this includes everything, with no extras on top. How many staff might attend the event and what type of equipment or vehicles might attend?
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Last Hurdle Bar was built from scratch by me and my partner looking to make anyone's event that extra special. After attending so many different events we always wanted to give our twist on things, looking for the most positive and unique ways of serving the public.
It is not always about the budget that the customer has, because even the smallest of budgets can be accommodated for.
