What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide the perfect quote, the key information that we need is the event date, estimated start and end time, number of guests, venue type e.g. Tipi, village hall, barn, marquee or garden, venue address or the intended location, if you require an indoor or outdoor bar, payment method e.g. cash/card bar or all-inclusive and number of guests. This will allow us to give you a base quote with the option to add things on later, if you are wanting to take out packages e.g. welcome drinks, toast drinks or maybe table wine we can add this into your initial quote or if you are undecided that's absolutely fine we can revisit this at a later date.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Getting the right provider is key to ensuring that not only you have a stress free event but that your guests have a night to remember! We've spoken to way too many people over the years where they have had suppliers in the past run out of stock and this is something you really don't want. Ask your provider how they ensure that they will not run out of stock? do they have a contingency plan? because your guests should never be without. Do they have a minimum spend? if so, how does that work? do you pay the funds upfront and get the amount back when it's hit or do you pay the difference at the end of the event. What power do they need or do they supply their own power? How many staff will be there on the day? Are there any extra costs? what about what extras do they provide? you may find that some of the extras offered may be helpful and finally check their reviews and not the first couple, make sure you look through them in detail this will give you an indication of their performance on the day and their professionalism, if there's something that you should be aware of, you'll find them here.

We have over 25 years of combined experience in the bar and events industry so we know how key getting the bar right is to any event. We believe that between our experience and the host's vision we can create the perfect event that will have people raving about it for weeks after.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add To Event is a fantastic platform, we use it regularly and have done since the start of our business. We recently supplied our bar at a wedding for over 200 people and we smashed it! The drinks kept flowing and everyone raved about how much choice they had. We went through the bride and groom's requirements and worked with them to ensure that the day was absolutely perfect, our reviews on Add To Event and Facebook simply speak for themselves.
