What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide an inclusive & comprehensive quotation we need the date and location of the event that the customer is planning. If the exact venue has not been chosen a rough idea of the area in which it might be held is really useful. In addition it is helpful to know the expected guest numbers and whether access to a water and power supply is conveniently positioned near to where the tub needs to be placed.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If I was a customer looking for a reputable company to provide a portable hot tub for my event I would expect them to have an in depth knowledge of the tubs they are hiring along with experience of providing them for a variety of events.

To ensure that you are supplied with the right tub for the right event I would ask for their advice as to suitability and perhaps even ask for examples of functions they have catered for before. In addition I would suggest looking at their website and any social media presence to get an idea of other customers' experiences.

I would recommend that you check any quotation provided to ensure that all charges are included, there are no extras for delivery etc and you are being quoted for either a rigid hot tub or inflatable type.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Our sister company K & S Toilets have been supplying portable toilets & showers for all types of events throughout Mid-Wales for many years. With a growth in festival style weddings, hen & stag parties and pampering events we wanted to offer something 'fun' for our customers rather than the vital toilet facilities! We have enjoyed a hot tub at home for many years and thought that more people should be able to experience the luxury and relaxation at their own home or venue. After a long search we sourced a truly portable rigid tub (made in the UK) and the company was born!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have been delighted with the response to our inclusion on Add to Event which has lead to us providing portable hot tubs to a range of events in different locations.

In particular we have been pleased to deliver & set up portable hot tubs at a number of luxury holiday homes for weekend parties. I think that the most memorable was for a period property just over the border in Herefordshire. The hot tub was delivered and set up on the Friday with guests arriving in the evening. The relaxing hot tub was then enjoyed by all the guests (approx 15) over the weekend with many commenting that it had given a real wow to their weekend break.

The number of enquiries and bookings which have come through Add to Event over the period which we have been listed has been extremely good. I would and indeed do recommend this website to many companies associated with hospitality in our area.
