What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For Vee Double Moo to provide a comprehensive quote, all we need is a date and a venue (or at least a geographical area) and an approximate number of guests. We supply a booking form to capture any other details at the time of booking (such as the time the ice cream service is required). Final details such as colour schemes and final guest numbers can be confirmed six weeks before the event itself.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask for a sample menu and a description of a provider's food. They should take a real pleasure in telling you about their product including the provenance and any unique or innovative features to their food. As we serve from a VW camper we are passionate about our vans too and want to share our passion for them with our customers.

Vee Double Moo was born from a love of the VW camper van scene and a passion for ice cream merged in to one! I have spent the last six years building up extensive catering and events experience and finding the best niches in which to serve our amazing ice cream with love. My passion is to provide a happy and personal customer service - most of all I still love serving great ice cream to lovely people.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am a very new user of Add to Event but have been incredibly impressed so far by the website and its ease of use. It just really works! This is illustrated by the fact that I have already had multiple really interesting and appropriate enquiries.
