What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to be able to provide an accurate quote there are a few essential details we need. Ideally we need the date and time of the event, location and number of people. On top of this it helps if we can get a brief outline of their expectation for the event. However, we tailor all our packages to the requirements of the customer and the more information they provide the better we make sure every detail is right.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Most importantly research the provider. Take a look at their website. Make sure you ask them lots of questions about the quality of the service they provide. I would definitely ask to see some photos of their vans as you will get a real feel for what level of service they will provide by how well they present themselves. Ask them for ideas for your event, this will help you get a idea of how much experience they have of covering your type of event.

Royd Ices is now in its second generation of current ownership. We took over the company in the late 60's and this company and industry have been our passion ever since. We have always been and plan to continue ever growing and evolving. Our strongest drive is our passion and determination to provide the best products with the best service in the best vans.
