What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide an accurate quote, we need the basics such as the location, the date, the serving times, and if there is access to electricity and water. Then we need to know more about the event, the number of guests, the budget. Finally, we want to know about your preferences - what do you want from our menu e.g. select dishes - all the way to the full offering. With these pieces of information, we can make it an unforgettable event for you!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Most importantly make sure that the food truck or provider you are hiring are experienced and are legitimate. Have they got an online presence, do they have any reviews on Add to Event etc? Secondly, do their photos/descriptions live up to the event you are trying to build? Some may be too posh or too basic for the event you are trying to create. Speak to them (on the phone ideally), do they understand your event, are they warm and keen to provide their service?

Gully - created the UK's first interactive Indian Street Food Truck.
Founded by father and son, we strive to match the culinary techniques used by generations of our family with the palette of modern British society. Our aim is to combine the spices, aromas and flavours of North Indian cuisine, with a state of the art truck to deliver the ultimate experience.
Gully was British Street Food Awards Finalist in 2020, selected by Selfridges for the inaugural Christmas Market, and Gully was featured on the BBC to discuss their rise in the Street Food Scene.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We did a wonderful event for Elizabeth through Add to Event. It was for a corporate party, who wanted to add a bright lit up LED food truck to their office evening social. Elizabeth left a glowing review on our Add to Event Page as well! We ensured to feed all their staff - starters, mains and desserts. It was also important we followed all COVID guidelines, and at Gully, our H&S standards are kept to the top rating, with our 5-star food hygiene rating.
