What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

if the organizer can give us as much information as possible about the event including the date, times and of course the number of people looking to attend. We do require the venue details and often like to meet at the venue as our guys are very experienced and have some amazing ideas. The events team we have at the bouncy castle man are some of the best in the business and will not only give as much advice as we can but we will also point you in the right direction when licenses are required and often we do this for you.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important thing is to enquire about the product they're supplying. They have to be confident in their product and know it inside out. You must ensure that the vendor has a price list and all products are clearly priced as there is no point in ordering a burger and getting a salad roll then paying a fortune for it.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I created this business some 15 years ago as I had hired a few inflatables but thought they were expensive and there were no crash mats if the kids fell out. My main aim was to make the inflatables safer and reduce the price so it was affordable to every family. From there I grew the business to become Scotland's largest inflatable hire company with the largest range of bouncy castles but more importantly, I've stuck to safety and all the bouncy castles have safety certificates done every year and every bouncy castle has crash mats.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

There are 100's of amazing events we have been lucky to be involved in but one that sticks out in my mind was the first time we did the young careers festival. We were all touched by what a lot of the kids have gone through and they don't play on it but in fact, just get on with it. We did karaoke at a point during the day and to say I was blown away is an understatement as some of these kids had such amazing voices. We still do the event every year and it gets better and better all the time.
