What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to be able to provide a quote first time we would require a few details of the event and the items you want to hire.
For our light letters, we would need the date and the venue address. We would also need to know the letters that you want to hire. We have a growing stock of letters and are happy to make new letters to order. We currently have LOVE MR(S) & MR(S) 2020 K C, (Heart) Sign.
For our bar, we would need more information on the number of guests and also specific drinks that are required. We have a form that can be sent for people to fill in with what they want for us to provide.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not be afraid to ask questions. The more questions you ask the easier it will be to make the choice of which supplier to go for. Do not always go for the supplier with the highest rating, we have only just started our business so our rating is low but it doesn't mean we can't provide the same if not better service than some of the bigger more established companies.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started the business after a family wedding. We made the LOVE letters and it seemed a big waste to lock them away in a garage never to be seen again.
We are taking things as they come and will try and help and couple or party achieve what they want to do on their day.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are yet to complete our first booking through Add to Event although we have several all confirmed for the 2020 and even the 2021 summer.
The platform is brilliant to use as a supplier and the chat feature makes it very easy to keep up with customers.
