What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To be able to provide a quick and comprehensive quote, we always ask for the below information -
Dates required, the postcode for the venue, specific Items required, timings required for delivery and collection.
Using this information we will then be able to quickly update on our prices and availability for the potential event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise a potential client to ask the below questions to ensure they are fully informed on the items they are hiring.
Marquees - what size and number of people the marquee will hold (seated and standing) how will the area for the marquee be level, what added extras are available (flooring/lights/heaters/tables and chairs)
What is their assembly time and ensure the supplier has appropriate liability insurance?
For light up Letters / Numbers, ask are the letters PAT tested and have they the appropriate liability insurance. The size of the Letters / Numbers (height and width) Colour of the lights available (e.g. warm white/cool white etc) Are the items suitable for outdoor use and the assembly time.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had a number of bookings now through Add to Event and find the booking and selection process to be easy and convenient for both our clients and ourselves as a supplier.
