What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a comprehensive quote, I will be happy to discuss what you want me to provide your event with as the most important thing is your vision, your ideas and for me to deliver Professional Magical Entertainment within those parameters. Your location, number of people attending, what type of event are you putting and the date of the event on are all important factors in putting together the quote but don't forget to include your own vision and requirements.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice is simply to hire a full-time Professional Magician. Experience in performing in all types of venues for all types of audiences is invaluable and can only be gained by performing, not by practising in your kitchen. Depth of repertoire, flexibility and from a business perspective things Public Liability Insurance are all forgotten by hobbyists and amateurs.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I quit my old day job to pursue magic full time back in May 2019, I didn't find my then career fulfilling, it was the right time for me and I haven't looked back since. Magic is all about emotion and delivering that feeling of absolute astonishment to your spectators, I love performing and I love the reactions that my Magic provides whether it's a Close-up show for a table at a charity dinner or my One-man stand-up show for a social club or bar. The added bonus is that I meet amazing people at every gig I do and I get to add a memory to their life.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had quite diverse bookings through Add to Event so far and all have been very good, my favourite was performing at the Witchball Beer Festival last summer. I was asked to perform both on stage and afterwards to provide Close Up Magic around the bars. It was a beautifully sunny day, everyone was in good spirits, the venue was packed with families, locals and tourists all enjoying the beer and street food on sale, everyone wanted to pick a card and be involved and as well as getting great reactions I made a lot of friends.
