What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a comprehensive quote, I need the date, the type of event and a guest list number. I would also need to know how long I would be required to perform my world-class close up mingling magic and mind-reading. Finally, I would need to know if the client requited any type of stand up or stage show.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask how long they have been performing. Anything under 5 years should be avoided. Ask about previous clients and venues - and require some recommendations. You should also ask to see any showreel they have put together. The very least you should insist on is video footage of the performance.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have had a passion for magic and mentalism my whole life. In the 1990s and early 2000s, I became the top magical performer in San Francisco and Northern California/ I returned back to the UK and set up shop here. There is nothing quite so special as transporting grown adults into a feeling of total wonder where they feel children again when all seems possible. Magic and mentalism performed well is the strongest form of entertainment there can be. I am one of the worlds top people who does this flawlessly - to me, magic is like breathing - to my audience - their breath is taken away.
