What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

As your photographer, after the date and venue, I would need to know in particular, what kind of a budget you are working to. This is to determine what level of cover you need for the event. Perhaps you will be requiring photography of the morning preparations, or perhaps the after-party is expected to go on pretty late. I would also need to know what style of photography you are looking for, in the way of formal, casual, or maybe candid for example. Knowing the style would include - knowing what kind of presentation you might be looking for. With all this and I can put together a pretty accurate quote, for you to get a good idea of how much it's likely to cost.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The thing about wedding photography is in general that it is over-priced. From my experience of couples getting married - they are willing to spend basically more than is genuinely require - for the peace of mind. However, photographers come in all sizes and with very different skill bases. My advice is to check their previous work - and I mean to go through their portfolio with a fine-tooth comb. If its the style, quality, and look you that you want - then have a look at the price. If too much is determined by how much the photographers are charging then you might be disappointed.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Photography has always been an important part of my life. Growing up, when I was young I was always out with my camera taking pictures. Later on, I knew then that I wanted to become a professional. So I studied and spent a long time building up sufficient experience, the equipment necessary and the expertise to guarantee my customer's high-quality digital photography and to fulfil my dream. Adept photography Ltd. has been under construction for several years but is now a registered company and is open for business

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have done several rather strangely lovely weddings - I think the most notable of these was a wedding I shot, hosted at Old Wardour Castle in Tisbury, Wiltshire. The occasion was to make the marriage of Spiker and Donna; an older couple getting re-married. They were actually old punks and the event was marked with bright Mohicans and colourful outfits. They had both been married before - but it was very sweet to see that these two old rebels, in later life, had found in each other their soul-mate.
