What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

The date, the address, number of guests and a brief outline of your hopes and plans for your event are always useful. The more information we have, the more accurate your quote will be, although we know you might not have all the answers. We are happy to work with you refining your plans until you're happy with the package.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

There are many options available. Marquee events are always unique and special to you, but there can be a daunting number of things you need to organise. An idea of what you want from your event is always a good place to start - formal or informal, will the site make any decisions for you, are there other event professionals we need to liaise with, and how can we help them...We are always happy to help organise so do talk to us

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I wasn't planning on starting a Marquee Hire business at all until I saw and fell in love with the modern style Trapeze Marquees that we supply. Such was the elegance of their design and versatility of use, that I actually wanted some for myself. The only way this could happen was to start the company, and 11 years later, we are happy to be able to share these beautiful structures with anyone who is planning an event and wants something a bit different.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

There have been so many bookings that have come through Add To Event, it's hard to pick just one. We have done weddings big and small, Summer Balls, intimate family parties, festivals and agricultural shows - the list is endless.
If I had to pick one, it would be a wedding for 150 people in 2019 that was right next to Croyde beach. Everything came together to make the perfect event - beautiful weather, a fabulous site right next to the beach, and a great team of event suppliers who made everything run like clockwork. Our lovely clients were a delight to work with, and had a great time. It was a privilege to be a part of it.
