What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To gain a quote from ourselves we need some basic information, What date the event is, where the event will be held, and what times you wish the event to start/end. If the quote is for catering, we would also ask how many you would like catered for and if there are any dietary requirements, such as allergies. intolerances etc. once we have the basic information, we are able to give you a quote based on your preferences.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We would advise the customer to ensure that the company they are looking to book has the correct level of experience for the type of event, and the correct certificates and insurance level. Most companies have at the minimum, profile pages and are happy to share their experiences and feedback. We would then advise that the customer enquires about the procedures, set up times and how the event will be managed, before making a decision. If the event is in a smaller or a larger venue, the customer may also enquire as to whether the company has the correct equipment for the size of premises, to be able to give the best sound quality possible.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Our business started 20 years ago this year, born out of the love of music and entertainment. It's not just a job to us, its a passion. we have grown over the years, from only supplying mobile disco, to supplying food, room decorations and other extras. We are a family business, and each and every one of us love our job. We believe every event is unique, and every event deserves 100% from ourselves, to ensure you remember your events for the right reasons, for years to come.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are quite new to the site, and as yet we haven't completed an event that has been booked through Add to Event. We do have a number of events booked and confirmed through the site that are upcoming in the future. The process of booking and confirming is simple and easy to use, and we would recommend the site to anyone looking for any event-related services
