What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

I would like to know where the party is, how long it would be for and the amount of lighting needed. We do not charge more for different events. We cater for both indoor and outdoor events, for example, we did a disco in a marquee on New Year's Eve.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask the provider about their range of music, lighting and the quality of the equipment. I would want to see a range of reviews in order to check that previous clients are happy with the disco provided. It is also important to ask if they specialise in a particular genre.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Medway Mobile Disco arose from a request for music to be played at a birthday party. I bought the equipment and learnt how to use it. This gave me such excitement that I decided to pursue it as an interest. Since then, I have upgraded all of the equipment, downloaded legal versions of the music, added to my CD collection (yes I still buy them) and completed a wide range of bookings. I have received very good reviews.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have recently received three bookings through Add to Event. They are all long term bookings so I am unable to review then yet. Two of them are weddings. I have found the website extremely easy to use and I look forward to using it in the future. The process is painless and it allows for a private conversation between the supplier and the client.
