What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Ideally, I like to know when quoting, the date and times, the size and name of the venue, the reason for the party and if the venue is on the level floor with parking nearby.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask, how long a provider has been in the business, plus what they have for back up plans in case a DJ is unable to do the gig and spare equipment etc, and also details of venues they have worked including those that recommend them to clients.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

A love affair with music, at school when people were learning about maths and science etc, I was more into reading the Guinness book of hit singles, learning about facts on songs and group members etc, from day one I wanted to be the best I could, which is why initially I contacted other DJs in my area who impressed me with either their adverts or websites etc and by networking got together what I believe is a dynamic group who can cater for any music event regarding a disco, to where I now have mainland UK coverage

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had a good number now from Add to Event with some good feedback. My colleague did a disco at Goals in Ipswich Suffolk, of which they did a fantastic review, but then the truth is that since I joined which must be a year or even more now, I have found Add to Event very easy to use, and it gives one easy access to contact those looking for the services my organisation offer, and more importantly there is a steady flow of leads, and I have told a number of my DJ's about them.
