What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we would like the date and time of the event, a brief description of the event, the estimated number of potential customers/guests and the location. We would also like to know if there is a fee to attend and we are selling to guests/customers or if the event is being prepaid. Having all this information is the best way to put together a quote or offer to attend your event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you know what they can offer and the added bonuses, for example, we don't just offer gourmet coffee and luxurious hot chocolates we carry an onboard freezer that allows us to create iced coffee, milkshakes, smoothies and frappes. Ask to see a menu and what else they can do for your event specifically. Find out how they make their drinks and food as you want to give customers/guests the best experience.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Really Awesome Coffee Dunstable started 4 and a half years ago after I had worked in retail for 30 years, I decided to run my own business and focus on the part of retail I love most: customer service. I've always had a passion for coffee and providing that extra unique customer experience for every individual. After much research into starting my own business, Really Awesome Coffee was a clear winner to join with a top range coffee van and all the help they offer in the beginning and throughout your growth of the business is second to none.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
It's so easy to apply for an event on Add to Event! You can save templates to save your time and effort in typing each reply, you just need to tailor it slightly to the event. Our best booking was a football tournament which provided us with our best ever sales in a weekend two years running. It was 30 degrees in summer and it was my son and I attending and we had no idea we'd be so busy. We had to get my wife and the organiser to get us more stock, they were more than willing to help to keep us going. We ended up giving a big fee to the club and they invited us back every year since and we've attended club nights and presentation days.
