What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide a detailed quote, it would be helpful to know the type of event, the on site venue and perhaps what facilities are included by way of kitchen equipment, if catering. A rough idea of any dietary needs would also be helpful.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

For barbecues and catering we only use good quality products and sometimes make things like kebabs etc ourselves. We'd advise customers to ask providers whether they make their own food or if it is ready-made. If somebody wants to suggest their own menu, we would gladly price this up for them and we would suggest that customers ask providers whether they can do the same. Most of our menus are tried and tested and can easily be served en bloc and within a decent timescale. It is advisable that you discuss this with providers. With thirty years experience in the licensed trade, we are more than capable of providing a first rate bar facility at a very reasonable price. It is well worth asking providers what additional services they offer.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

All In One was established over twenty years ago to provide both catering and bar facilities for a variety of functions. We are primarily a family run business and have also used several of the same staff for a number of years. For a wedding, we would normally arrange a meeting with the couple and usually end up organising the whole day.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have been lucky enough to provide our services to at least a dozen or so customers in the last nine months; several of the weddings used our services for the whole day e.g. drinks on arrival, afternoon catering, wine, toast, a bar facility and evening catering. One of our weddings came third in wedding of the year in Buckinghamshire.
