What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to supply an accurate quote to a customer, we would like ideally to know the event date, a brief description of the type of event that they are hosting, the estimated number of attendees, and the chosen venue, whether it’s indoors or outdoor venue.
Once we have received this information, we can tailor a suitable package for our customer.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask as many questions as possible.
Do not be worried about annoying the supplier by doing this.
It is actually easier to plan your event when more information is shared, even the smallest of details.
Ideally, you’d look to ask what product the supplier offers, the prices of their products and the quality also.
You wouldn’t like to turn up to a 5* restaurant and be given fast-food style meals.
Find out the type of equipment they are using. If you have a specific desire for glass glassware over plastic glassware then asking if that could be included in the package.
Always read any terms and conditions of hire also. Make sure you aren’t going to get any hidden charges!

We are still looking forward to our first booking via Add to Event.
But saying that we have given out many quotes and received a fair amount of interest for future booking possibilities.
We find it a brilliant asset to what we do and would recommend all types of suppliers.
