What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For an accurate quote, I need a few clear details from the organiser, the event date and time, the style of event (birthday, wedding, corporate), roughly the number of guests you are expecting, the location and venue - indoors/outdoors.
Once I have these details I am able to work out how many drinks you need, which style of drinks you might want to be considered, the structure which will suit your location - our pallet bar or horsebox. This is how I work out all of my quotes then we add on the personal touches after the basics are met.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take into consideration that if you receive an incredibly low quote why is it so low? what are they cutting out to make the quote so cheap? lower standards & lower quality. If you have a budget supplier offering you cocktails bear in mind they are going to be of a basic standard, the cocktails won't be as elaborate and impressive also the service level will too be on the budget level. If you are wanting something more unique, special and to make a statement and to add a magical touch to your event it is best to spend that little bit more to receive an all-around higher standard of service so that before it is too late you and your guests won't be disappointed. Remember you get what you pay for but within a reasonable price for your requests. Look into their social media and any reviews they have.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started in hospitality from a very young age and I stayed in the industry for the love of food, drink and the social element. I have worked in the industry for 10 years now and it is still an exciting world to work within, my passion hasn't faded and I'm sure it will not. I love providing luxurious drinks to all my clients at numerous locations, I thrive to push my business and focus on service, flavours and uniqueness. I base my business around these three elements to add a magical touch to all the events we attend.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had a couple of great booking through this platform. I loved my latest booking - a Christmas party in an office location for 20 guests. They had a mixture of cocktails, beers, wine and prosecco throughout the night and they had an incredible time. The client and her guests were so happy with my services - from the drinks to my services and just the appearances of my bar. I feel confident they will use me again in the future if an event arises.
I would recommend the platform to others as there are a number of suppliers on the platform.
