What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a comprehensive quote, please let us know which format of the band you'd like - festival, function band, semi-acoustic or mains-free busking and whether we're providing the whole PA, or if we're part of a bigger event and PA is provided.
Also make sure you add the date, what the booking is for, the venue (especially whether it's indoor or outdoor), the estimated number of guests and any musical preferences you have. We have a huge repertoire, so do let us know if you'd like a mix of music or whether you're looking for something more targeted, like a 70s/80s/90s night, or something more rock, or more pop, etc.

Lastly, feel free to add anything that would make it the best night EVER for you and your guests!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a live band, always ask to hear some LIVE sound from them. Our profile (and almost everything on our YouTube Channel) is live sound because you need to know exactly what a band will sound like at your event.
Secondly, if your event isn't for a few weeks, why not go and see them for yourself? That's a sure-fire way to know if it's the band for you and it's a huge relief to know exactly what you're getting for your own event so you can relax!

Lastly, make sure that the music will please ALL your guests; the best bands will make sure they ask about the demographic of your event and tailor the genres and decades of the music on the setlist to make sure everyone has the best time.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Chaos is a happy band of musicians who formed in 2016 with the aim to play the best feel-good music from a huge range of decades and genres so that audiences have the best night out EVER!

We often play classic songs and anthems that you may not have heard covered before and our absolute best moment of every gig is when we start to play the first few bars of a song and we see SO many people's faces light up with recognition, park their drinks on the nearest table and run to the dance floor to dance and sing along with their friends or colleagues...or complete strangers! For us, THIS is why we play in a band.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

It's difficult to pick out one event when we do such different things, from headlining at festivals to intimate busking around a campfire at a woodland wedding!

But if we had to pick one, it would probably be when we headlined the official Platinum Jubilee Party for Warwick, in the main square of the town. It was just SO joyful; with old and young, local people and visitors, just everyone dancing together and the crowds stretched back so far down Market Place we couldn't see the end of them! At times, the crowd's singing was so loud it felt like we were just at the biggest, most fun party EVER and the shouts for "MORE!!!" at the end were deafening, although there was an agreed curfew time, so we had to stop, but everyone wanted to carry on all night!! :-)
