What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Where possible, the event date, the number of hours photography they would like, i.e. half day or full day. The location of the event and any timings they may have.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First up I would ask to see a photographers portfolio. If you like what you see then I would then ask about the fees and to see any reviews they may have and what they can offer to the upcoming event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started JK Weddings 15 years ago after a bunch of my friends has asked me to photograph their weddings. I discovered during that time I love being part of someone's big day and I developed a passion for delivering images full of spontaneity and emotion which tell a story of their day. It is an absolute honour to be part of someone's else's family and friends and at its heart, JK Weddings is dedicated to delivering imagery that is focused on the client's needs and wishes.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

This platform has been great for me. I have gained extra exposure and have also been referred by clients to other jobs.
