What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
All we need to know is when and where the event is being held, the type of event and estimated number of guests.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask potential providers how long they require to set up the booth, how much space they will need and whether they are PAT tested and fully insured. How many staff will attend the booth? How many people will fit into the booth? Make sure you are aware of any add-on costs, such as memento album, USB stick of all pictures taken, mileage allowance, etc. Are the props and photos of high quality? We have personally seen some really old and worn (even broken) props, and photos that are thin and paper-like!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
My partner and I attended a wedding that had an inflatable photo booth and we absolutely loved it. The feedback from all the guests was amazing and it was the first time we had seen one. After talking to the owners, we found out that they were selling the booth due to other business commitments which had taken over, so to cut a rather long story short, we ended up buying the booth shortly after and set up Selfie Party Booth. We run the booth ourselves and absolutely love doing events. It's always so much fun and definitely doesn't feel like work!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had so many requests through Add to Event now that I've lost count! As our business is approaching our first birthday, we have had several of our bookings this year through Add to Event and so glad that another member recommended them to us! (Totally impartial - a caterer at a wedding we were also hired for). One of my favourite weddings was a lovely young couple who got married back in April. The setting was in a converted barn, and at several points, we had a queue for the booth! We also had amazing feedback from them saying we had made their wedding evening, and their friends and family loved us. It makes us feel very privileged to be chosen to be part of someone's special day/celebrations.
