For us to provide an accurate quote ideally we need the following information, when and where the event will take place, what type of event it is, estimated of guests, is it to be held indoors or outside, length of event, any other specific requirements, with all this information we will be able to put together a bespoke package to cover all of your requirements for the day.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a photographer in my area I would suggest seeking answers to the following questions, what experience does the photographer have? Do they have an up to date portfolio, it their portfolio varied, or do they stick to one type of photography? Are they within your price range, be mindful that when you hire a photographer you are not only paying for their time on the day, but time takes to collate and edit your images, their expertise both on the day and in producing professional quality images for you, and their knowledge and use of equipment and training,
Talk to your potential photographer about the service they will give you and what products they offer, many will offer a download option for your images but most will also offer a professional print service too.
Tell them what your needs are before the big day so they can plan for all eventuality’s and capture the shots you want, ask if they are prepared to offer a consultation wither in person on remotely to discuss exactly that you would like on the day.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have been a photographer for a good number of years now, I started when my eldest daughter was born, just taking family snaps, this developed into a hobby that I enjoyed so much, friends and family started requesting I take photos for them, so I started off small, I opened my business a couple of years ago, and not looked back since, I am all self-taught, and whilst always still learning, I pride myself in being able to offer a professional efficient service to cater for all photography needs, and what I am not 100% confident with I am always willing to learn more.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am yet to make my first booking through this website as I have only just started to use it, I am getting a lot of requests for quotes, so hopefully I will make my first booking through Add to Event soon and will be able to edit this section.
