Brought ALL their own equipment plus fresh ingredients. Prepared EVERYTHING in situ. Silvestre happy to talk whilst working which was a bonus. Food choices worked supremely well. Nicely presented. Liked that he described the food to us. Highly attentive throughout. The desserts left us full ... happy ... and content. No small feat for a noisy family "do". And the icing on the cake? "I wanted to book a private chef to celebrate my wife’s birthday and to cook for our group of ten who were staying in a holiday cottage. The first chef I booked many months in advance let me down at the last minute. Panic stations set in as I started my search again less than 2 weeks before the event.
